Maine holds a special place in my heart. My father was born in the very northern part of Maine. He was the youngest of 10 children. There are so many fond memories of our visits to Presque Isle, reunions with a multitude of relatives, vacationing in cabins on Portage Lake, picnics with the best home-grown food. These pictures, taken near Acadia, on our trip to southern Maine, brought back so many wonderful feelings.
